Look Of The Day: Party!

Last week I was intvited to my friend's birthday party, the theme was hippie's! 

At first I was really excited and had so many ideas what to wear.

When the day of the party arrived I was absolutely clueless!

Nothing seemed to fit me right anymore...

Eventually I decided to just wear this outfit.

Looking at these pictures it almost feels like I forgot to bring my roller-skates,

it's not really hippie-style but it's not bad either right?

Actually I wore almost the exact same outfit to Beyoncé's concert hahaha!
The only changes are the bomber jacket, the head band and there's no bag.

I had a really fun night and made some new friends!

It ws nice to keep my mind a bit distracted from the final exams.

Maybe I'll throw a huge party after the exams!

Just kidding, I'm probaly going to sleep for like 5 weeks hahahahaha!

Look Of The Day: Being Patient

Finally the weather allowed me to wear this outfit!

I created this look a few weeks ago, I believe it was all the way back in March!
The first sun rays of the year always get me really excited,
which makes me more creative when it comes to clothing!
After trying this outfit on I decided to just wait until it was actually Spring.
So I waited, and waited and waited...
Somehow Spring was really testing my patience!
Luckily the weather decided not to let us all down this week (most of the week).
So I took advatange of the opportunity without a doubt!
Now I'm going to wait for the day I don't need to wear a jacket anymore.
This time I won't be so patient!

New In: The Nine Streets and more

Lately I've been shopping way too much!

Having a blog really makes me realise this even more...

And there's another ASOS.com order on its way.

Honestly, I think I've been shopping this much because of the stress.

As you already now I'm graduating high school this year,

my final exams begin next week...

Unconsciously I've been stressing a lot about it.

Recently I had a little breakdown which really opened my eyes.

It almost seems like I just woke up from a dream or something like that.

I find it hard to explain, but it felt like I wasn't really 'present' all the time.

Luckily I'm much more focused right now and I realised I've been spending too much money!

It would be a lie if I told you I'm all right, because the truth is that I've never been more afraid.

Sometimes it's good to be a little bit frightened though.

Let's just hope for the best outcomes possible!

Here's what I bought in The Nine Streets and some lovely presents I got from my grandmother who lives in Surinam (South-America).

Look Of The Day: Shopping Spree

As I already told you I went shopping in ''The Nine Streets" for the first time.

Since my mum and I enjoy some sleeping in on a day off,

we were a little bit too late to see every shop.

OK let's stay honest, we only went to three shops (inlcluding H&M).

Anyway I really enjoyed our day!

Especially because Amsterdam was preparing for the abdication.

Funny fact: I tried on 14 items in a vintage shop but only bought 2...

I love vintage, but I hate the fact that you can't just search for your size!

Nothing seemed to fit me properly!

I'll make a "New In'' post shortly.

This was what I wore on our little shopping spree.

Casual but still chic and most of all easy, for when I've got to try on items.

Unfortunately it was a little bit cold, but the sun kept us warm enough.

Hopefully the sun will keep on shining!

New In: Midi dress and Boy London

Usually I shop a lot at once, but I've got to admit that I like shopping less more often as well!

You've got something to be excited about every week.

Shopping loads at once also keeps me happy for a long time though.

Maybe I should just continue to vary them!

Here's what I bought/ordered.

From asos.com I bought myself a Boy London t-shirt,

since I am addicted to asos.com I might need some help...

Another addiction of mine is Primark, where I bought this amazing midi dress.

After doubting for a long time I decided to just buy this dress.

I'm not really comfortable with how my body looks in bodycon dresses.

Since I'm still working out,

 (believe me I'm also surprised) I thought it would be a great goal to work to.

Monday I'll be shopping some more with my mum!
We're going to ''The Nine Streets" or ''De Negen Straatjes'' in Dutch :)

which is also known as the vintage area!

Can't wait to buy some one of a kind items!

Look Of The Day: Seeing Beyoncé

Monday was one of the most amazing days ever!

I went to Beyoncé's concert with two friends.

The show was incredible, what a great performance.

Beyoncé was one of the first artists I became a fan of.

Seeing her perform live really amazed me, I got a bit emotional as well.

I'd love to see her again as soon as possible!

Since we finally have better weather I was able to wear this spring outfit.

My outfit is really festival inspired, but it's also a bit London style isn't it?

Somehow those 4 days in London still manage to really inspire me!
Hopefully the weather will stay as nice as it is now.

New in: Shoe edition

Somehow I only bought new shoes this time...

I am just kidding! 

Unfortunately I had to send the other items I ordered back,

since they don't fit me and some items are just not that pretty in real life.

That's quite a disadvantage from online shopping, you can't tell what an item looks like in real life!

Luckily I don't often make bad decisions when it comes to shopping.

Anyway, I finally bought the white Converse All Stars!

I am not the trainers kind of girl but I do love Converse.

Don't you just love the slippers? I am absolutely in love with the gems.

Then we have the sandals...

Those gorgeous sandals, sometimes less is really more!
Can't wait to wear my new babies!

Paris 2013

With a long weekend coming up I finally found the time to write a post about my trip to Paris!

Consider this as a warning: there are a lot of  pictures coming up.

As you already know I went to Paris last weekend with my French class.

We had such a great time, what can possibly go wrong when your with 7 girls right?

I already showed you what I bought, which wasn't much...

Now it's time to show you what we did besides shopping!

One thing is certain; I have never walked this much in my life!
Coming from me that means a lot, since I (almost) always walk everywhere on holidays...
